Planning committee site visit - 8 Twyford Crescent

Sat, 1/13/2018

On Saturday 13th January 2018 there will be a visit to 8 Twyford Crescent by the Ealing Planning committee.

There are over 40 registered public comments .... all of which are objections to this scheme which include parking nuisance, noise, conservation area despoilment, disfigurement of the streetscape, loss of privacy for the neighbours, loss of yet another family house and many other reasons.

A Planning Officer has submitted a report to the Planning Committee recommending approval of the re-submitted application to convert the property into 4 flats.
However, the decision rests with the Councillors who form the Planning Committee and who do not have to accept the Officer's recommendation. Those Councillors are due to make a site visit to Saturday morning at 11:15 and residents are invited and encouraged to attend to make their views known.
The committee meets formally on the evening of Wednesday 17th to vote on the proposal. So this is the last chance to discuss this face to face with them prior to that meeting.

You can read the details of the initial and revised proposal along with the objections on the Ealing Council planning web site

CANForum has supported the local residents who have objected.
